 1. Financial Aid (grants):

Families who need financial help for the payment of the fees can apply for a financial aid.

 

The school grants a number of grant each year. The number and amount of grants can vary from year to year 

depending mainly on the availability of funds. Parents interested in applying for grants have to fill in the  application form 

and submit it to the school. The school will require additional financial documentation such as the tax report of the parents, 

to prove their financial status.  It may take the school up to 6 weeks to approve a scholarship application. 

The financial aid is provided by the European Education Fund, which is a non-profit foundation, established together with Pontis Foundation.

The European Education Fund, raises funds through sponsors for the purpose of supporting children's education. 

Each application is handled individually. In order to provide grants, the foundation considers certain criteria before making a decision. 

  Some of the criteria are:

The amount of money available to the European Education Fund.

bullet

The number of applications.

bullet

The age and possibilities of the student to get a good education at Forel or elsewhere.

bullet

availability of place in the required grade

bullet

The financial situation of the parents.

bullet

The number of children in the family.

bullet

The recommendation from the school or the test results of the students.  

2  .      Outstanding Students - Scholarship:

 Every year, the school offers a certain number of scholarships to "Outstanding Student".  An outstanding student proves to have 

achieved a combination of good marks at his exams (mark 1 or 90% and up), continuous participation during the school year, 

a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards his or her studies and a good behavior and character. 

T his year, the school will choose 5 students in grades 5 & 6.All Students who wish to enter the contest must contact Forel International School latest by April 8th  and register for the examinations. The names of the students and their grades will remain confidential unless their parents wish to announce it.

The Contest will take place on Thursday 14th of April 2005 at Forel International School.

The “Application Form For Financial Aid” and the “Application Form for Scholarship Granted To Outstanding Students”  

is available at the school's office.
