August Forel International School™  provides regular training and seminars for its staff. It is important that our effort should be a joint effort including all the staff, providing them with the tools and confidence required to carry out their functions.

Some of our training seminars for the teachers are designed to help staff members define the core, shared values they have in common, to discuss what those values should mean in action, and to encourage the development of character through instructional methodologies that promote ethical awareness in children.

To accomplish this, we offer workshops that bring teachers, administrators, and support staff together. Participants learn:

These workshops not only serve as a springboard for implementing ethics into the daily curriculum, but as a possibility for dialogue about the tough ethical challenges educators often face, but rarely have an opportunity to discuss with colleagues.

Teachers will also participate in workshops in which they study the significance and application of new learning material and findings, carefully chosen from a global curriculum. It is our goal to help our staff be informed and involved in the ongoing  developments in the area of education and the related academic fields.
